Family Baptist Health Pharmacy Residents at the Forefront of COVID-19 Vaccinations

The coronavirus pandemic has left an indelible mark on Baptist Health Pharmacy Residents. Virtual interviews, working from home and treating critically-ill patients have all been part of adjustments to their daily routine.

In the midst of this ever-evolving situation, one group of residents is making history. As the first doses of COVID-19 vaccines were delivered to Baptist Health for use on frontline healthcare workers, the residents had the opportunity to be involved in the preparation and administration of the vaccine.

The residents will continue to care for the South Florida community as appointments for the general public begin to open up. Baptist Health will be offering the COVID-19 vaccine to members of the community who are 65 years or over or who have certain conditions that put them at high risk of severe illness from the virus.
